Make Sure To Wear Sunscreen!

In order to maintain the youthful glow provided by our masques, make sure to apply a natural, mineral sunscreen every single day to combat any further signs of aging. Regular application also prevents the chance of developing skin cancer as an adult. In addition, seek shade during the brightest hours of the day (between 10am-4pm), wear protective clothing, and buy some sunglasses to protect the delicate eye area.

Sunscreen benefits

Sunscreen protects your skin from the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays, which come in two forms – UVA and UVB rays. UVA rays are associated with skin aging. They cause fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots that make skin look older. What most people don’t realize is that UVA rays have the ability to pass through glass, meaning your skin is exposed to them while you are driving and standing in front of windows. So make sure to wear it even when you are indoors! UVB rays are the ones associated with sunburns. Both UVA and UVB rays are carcinogens (cancer-causing), which is why you should buy a sunscreen that offers broad-spectrum protection against both of these forms of rays. Even if you have darker skin or tan rather than burn, skin cancer can be diagnosed for any age, gender, or skin type.
